Auburn Chemical Engineering
It is ranked by U.S. News and World Report among the topmost 50 public universities nationwide for 20 consecutive years, is enthusiastic to providing opportunities for all students to succeed and to occupy in socially fulfilling and educationally purposeful skills inside and outside the classroom. Situated in Auburn, a small town in Alabama with an inhabitants of 40,000, the university is within outstanding distance of the mountains and the beach, and is less than 2 hours far from both the cities of Atlanta & Birmingham.
Auburn is one of only five US universities leading research into nuclear waste storage for recycling and is also a leading light in cyber operations research.
It has been a land-grant university since 1872, originally engrossed on agriculture, but now has a wide responsibility of arts and applied sciences.
There are 15 colleges & schools, counting its graduate (UG) school, which presents more than 142 programs, in 208 academic buildings on 1,845 acres ground.
The Jan Dempsey Community Arts hosts several interesting things like ballets, plays and musicals and there is also a 29,000 square foot museum where the university’s extensive art collection is located, which includes work by famous Jacob Lawrence, Georgia O’Keefe, James Audubon and many more.
Auburn has a tradition dating back to 1930 whereby eagles are allowed to fly unchained over the football stadium at sports events. The most recent participant in this custom is an eagle termed ‘Nova’.
Athletics teams go by the name of Auburn Tigers, and contest in NCAA Division I, with 19 varsity teams in 13 sports and a strong women’s presence.
Aubie the tiger has been the much-loved mascot of Auburn for over 30 years, on behalf of the university at its football games and other sporting challenges.
It has created six NASA astronauts in total, as well as three directors of the Kennedy Space Center. The university also has a strong alumni association containing over 43,000 members.

Graduate of Science in Chemical Engineering

Assistant/Associate/Full Professor: The AU Department of Chemical Engineering invites applications for numerous occupancy pathway faculty positions. These tenancy track appointments are to become effective in August 2021.
Our department seeks stupendous students who have a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, petroleum engineering or associated field. The areas of knowledge are uncovered; though the character chosen for this position will be probable to give to the expansion of at least one of the department’s planned spotlight areas: energy and environment, higher materials, computer-aided chemical engineering, and pharmaceutical/biomedical engineering.

The department maintains lively research programs with about $7.9 Million yearly in sponsored research and in recent times completed full renovations of its Ross Hall and Wilmore Laboratories which give cutting edge research, instruction and office room. These renovations totaled above $45 Million.
Preferred Qualifications: The aspirants chosen for these positions must demonstrate a well-built commitment and potential to excel at both research and teaching in the area of chemical engineering. Furthermore, the aspirants will have a tough record of academic publication, a capability to pull towards you and maintain outwardly sponsored research funding to support their research program, effectively teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
Rank and salary are proportionate with experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a closely linked field. The candidates selected for these positions must be able to meet eligibility necessities to work in the United States at the time appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the planned phrase of employment. Ph.D. requisite at the time employment begins. Excellent communication skills and a tall level of personal motivation are required.
